Phenom Espejo is UAAP men’s volleyball rookie MVP
MANILA, Philippines — Phenom Marck Jesus Espejo became the first ever rookie-Most Valuable Player in the UAAP men’s volleyball history.
Ateneo’s young spiker bagged both awards to cap an outstanding debut season, which was made even sweeter with a finals appearance for the Blue Eagles.

Meanwhile, University of Santo Tomas’ Mark Gil Alfafara, last year’s co-MVP, went home with the best scorer, best server, and best attacker awards.
Best blocker citation went to University of the Philippines’ Julius Evan Raymundo, while Best Digger was Adamson’s Rence Melgar.
