MANILA, Philippines — Filipino world champion Donnie Nietes and Mexican Moises Fuentes will both go for a knockout when they clash Saturday night in the mainer of Pinoy Pride 25 at Mall of Asia Arena.

The 12-round fight, actually a grudge rematch for the World Boxing Organization light flyweight crown, promises to be more action-packed than their first encounter last year which ended in a majority draw. Having trained for four months and sparred for more than 120 rounds each, the two proud warriors hit the scales at an exact 108 pounds in yesterday’s weigh-in.

Nietes, who totes a 32-win, 1-loss, 4-draw record with 18 knockouts), is aiming to extend his six-year reign while Fuentes (19-1-1, 10 KOs) has vowed to bring the title to his country.
