PBA fines seven players for fighting in practice

MANILA, Philippines — Fines totaling P115,000 were slapped by commissioner Chito Salud on seven players, including MVP Arwind Santos of San Miguel Beer, for figuring in fights earlier this week. Santos was fined P20,000. Globalport’s Jondan Salvador was levied the same amount while teammate Mark Yee was penalized P10,000. Meralco’s Danny Ildefonso and Gary David were fined P20,000 while Alaska import Bill Walker was also fined P20,000. Meralco’s Gabby Espinas was penalized P5,000.
