UFL champion Global finishes with a flourish

NEWLY crowned United Football League titlist Global capped its sensational season with a 9-0 hammering of deposed champion Stallion Thursday night at Emperador Stadium in Taguig City.

Izzo El-Habbib fired a hat-trick even as Milad Behgandom and Mark Hartmann delivered two each for a Global side that also saw Daisuke Sato and Raul Martinez find the back of the net.

Having won the crown with three games to spare, Global still put up a ruthless display in the second half where Dan Palami’s side scored eight goals.
