Army battles NU; Air Force tests Ateneo

Growing in confidence, Army guns for a third straight win against a well-rested National U squad today in the Shakey’s V-League Season II Open Conference at Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

The match is set at 2 p.m. with the Lady Troopers fancied to tie PLDT at the top with a win over the Lady Bulldogs, who are seeing action for the first time in close to two weeks.

Air Force seeks a third win in four games when it clashes with Ateneo in the second match at 4 p.m.

The Lady Eagles, with a 1-1 record, are raring to bounce back from a straight-set defeat to the PLDT Turbo Boosters last Sunday.

The Raiders are coming off a straight-set romp over University of the Philippines last Tuesday, boosting their confidence against Ateneo’s youthful roster.
