Two rising tennis stars boost Palawan cast

Jerome Romualdez and Rafaella Villanueva signed up for the Series 58 Palawan Pawnshop President’s ELO Cup Regional Age Group tennis circuit, completing a stellar cast in the event presented by Tecnifibre.

The tournament fires off today at the Olivarez Sports Center in Sucat, Parañaque.

Romualdez, one of the country’s top junior players, banners the 32-player boys’ 16-and-under draw and is also entered in the premier 18-and-U section together with No. 1 Marcen Gonzales, while Villanueva heads the girls’ 14-and-U category and joins top seed Chloe Mae Saraza in the 18-and-U class of the week-long tournament.
