Arcilla, Tierro banner Olivarez Cup cast
JOHNNY Arcilla and PJ Tierro will banner the men’s Open field when the country’s top players and rising stars mix it up in the 5th Olivarez Open on Aug. 15 at Olivarez Sports Complex in Sucat, Parañaque City.
Clarice Patrimonio will head the ladies’ side, which will also include Marinel Rudas, Edilyn Balanga, Khim Iglupas, Maia Balce and Aileen Rogan.
A Group A tournament among members of the national team and pool and junior players will also be held Aug. 23 to 31 with the qualifier set Aug. 20 to 22.
The Group I tournament is slated until Aug. 20 with the top finishers in the Palawan Pawnshop-Palawan Express Pera Padala circuit expected to see action.
The Interclub tournament, featuring the country’s leading corporate and government teams, is set Aug. 16 to 31 while the top UAAP and NCAA teams will lead the Inter-college championship on Aug. 18 to 31. For inquiries, call 0915-4046464.
