3 FCVBA teams advance to Asean final four

THE FILIPINO-CHINESE Veterans Basketball Association (FCVBA) sent three teams to the semifinals of the 23rd Asean Veterans basketball Thursday at Science Sports Center in Bangkok.  Starring ex-Letran star Jerry Gonzales, the 50-years squad downed Pontianac of Indonesia, 49-43, to advance to the semifinals for the sixth straight year.  The 60-years team outlasted ZAAP of the host country, 39-34, while the Eton-backed 40-years team posted a 56-41 win over Hat Yai.
