PCCL Elite Eight: Archers foil Lancers, stay unscathed
LA SALLE mounted a fourth-quarter tear to get past University of Visayas, 74-64, last night at Cebu City Coliseum and stay unbeaten in two games in the Elite Eight of the Philippine Collegiate Champions League.
The Archers opened the final period with a 19-3 burst sparked by Robert Bolick, Prince Rivero and Daryl Pascual to turn a slim 52-51 edge into a 17-point spread, 71-54.
Just a day earlier, the Archers also tripped Southwestern University, the reigning Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. champion, 59-54.

Africans Espoir Toyambi and Shooster Olago helped the Warriors erect leads of as many as 24 points, before weathering the Tamaraws’ late rally.
