Pagunsan shoots 69, trails co-leaders by seven

KUALA LUMPUR—Juvic Pagunsan fired a three-under 69 in the second round of the $3-million Maybank Malaysian Open Friday but slipped seven shots behind co-leaders Lee Westwood of England and Spain’s Alejandro Canizares with a 140 total at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club. Defending champion Westwood (67) and Canizares (65) shared top spot with 133. Angelo Que (144), Miguel Tabuena (146) and Antonio Lascuña (146) also made the cut after similar 72s. Asian Tour News
