CEU, FEU fives notch 2nd wins
CENTRO Escolar University-Cafe France and Far Eastern University-Multi Motors eked out close wins over the weekend in the Smart-PCABL 4th Dickies Cup at Philippine Buddhacare gym in Quezon City.
CEU leaned on the heroics of Mary Ann Dologue to dispatch University of Santo Tomas, 70-64, for its second straight win while FEU banked on the hot hands of Claire Castro to beat University of the East, 61-57.
Dologue scored eight of her 17 points in the final quarter, including two crucial free throws, to take the fight out of the Tigresses. She also hauled down 9 rebounds and clinched the Dickies Player of the Game award.

In the other game, Ateneo-San Miguel Corporation drew decent numbers from Hazelle Yam and Kai Javier to pull off a 55-53 win over Adamson for its first win in two starts.
