CKSC launches Freego title bid vs UP
Chiang Kai Shek College launches its title-retention bid against University of the Philippines in the opening of the 8th Smart-PCABL (Philippine Chinese Amateur Basketball League) Freego Cup tomorrow at Philippine Buddhacare Academy gym in Quezon City.
Coach Goldwyn Monteverde said his new batch of players is ready to take on the challenge following the graduation of their stars.
“It’s time for our other players to deliver,” said Monteverde referring to John Galenato, Scott Aying and Joshua Ramirez. They clash with the Juniors Maroons at 10:30 a.m.
Freego officials led by Eduard Tio and Marty Tio will grace the opening rites. A total of 18 teams are entered.
