Faves rule Cebuana tennis
FAVORITES headed the roll of winners in back-to-back Cebuana Lhuillier age-group tennis circuit legs in Polomolok, South Cotabato, and Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.
“We have always believed that a strong and sustained age-group series will be the key to discovering new young tennis talents in the provinces,” said Philippine Tennis Association chair Jean Henri Lhuillier, the president-CEO of the sponsoring firm.
Ozamiz City leg winners repeated in Zamboanga with Sydney Ezra Enriquez, Jan Marie Anghag and Immaville Gervacio ruling the 12-, 14-, and 18-and-under age groups and Lorraine Grace Barola topping the 16-and-underover Gervacio.
Lanao del Norte’s Mart Clarence Cabahug bested Clyde Mari Casino to win the 18-and-under boys title while Jose Ma. Pague ruled the 16-and-under crown. Mark Nicole Suson ruled the 14-under, Alexis Ocabo won the 12-under and Nash Agustines topped the 10-under.
