Judiciary guns for second UNTV title

JUDICIARY goes for a sweep of its title series with Malacañang when they clash in Game 2 of their best-of-three finals in the 3rd UNTV Cup Tuesday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Game time is 8 p.m. with the Magis out to follow-up their 89-71 win in the Finals opener last April 12 at Ynares Sports Center in Pasig City.

Both teams played on almost even terms in the first two quarters of Game 1 before ex-pro Don Camaso exploded in the third quarter, knocking three of his four triples to spark the run.

In all, the Magis had six triples in that period to go into the final 10 minutes enjoying a 20-point edge, 64-44.

Expected to deliver the goods for the inaugural season champion are Ariel Capus, Frederick Salamat, Julius Rabino and John Hall.

Meanwhile, Team Skywalker, composed of PBA greats and friends of Samboy Lim, battles UNTV All-Star at 6:30 p.m.  UNTV CEO and chair Daniel Razon will give P1 million to the family of the ailing Lim.

Among those playing for Team Skywalker are Ramon Fernandez, Atoy Co, Bogs Adornado, Johnny Abarrientos, Allan Caidic, Alvin Patrimonio, Ato Agustin and Philip Cezar.
