6 Luzon provinces eye 2016 Palarong Pambansa hosting
DAVAO DEL NORTE—Six provinces in Luzon are reportedly vying to host the 2016 Palarong Pambansa.
On the heels of the successful Palarong Pambansa held here, Albay, Cagayan Valley, Pangasinan, Camarines Sur, Pampanga and Bulacan have expressed intention to stage the annual sporting meet for elementary and high school students.
Mentioned as Palaro sites are Guinobatan in Albay, Tuguegarao in Cagayan Valley, 2012 host Lingayen in Pangasinan, Naga in Camarines Sur and Bocaue in Bulacan.

“Davao del Norte was very impressive from start to finish,” Umali said.
