Valdez, Maraño, Santiago sisters head crack SEAG volley squad

STAR spikers Alyssa Valdez, Aby Maraño, Dindin Santiago-Manabat and Jaja Santiago will lead the national women’s volleyball team seeing action in the coming Southeast Asian Games in Singapore.

Larong Volleyball sa Pilipinas president Joey Romasanta named the lineup yesterday, the last to be picked for national duty in the biennial Games.

“This is the best we have,” said Romasanta.

Valdez and Maraño are also among those being considered to skipper the team that is also made up of Rachel Ann Daquis, Bea de Leon, Rhea Dimaculangan, Jovelyn Gonzaga, Denden Lazaro, Jia Morado, Dindin Manabat, Maika Ortiz and Gretchel Soltones. Marc Anthony Reyes
