Bong Quinto came off the bench but made the big plays down the stretch as Letran eked out a 68-64 victory over St. Benilde Friday in the 2015 Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup at the Arena in San Juan.

Driving to the basket with 22 seconds still left to play, Quinto was found by Jomari Sollano and drained the go-ahead teardrop show to push the Knights to a 66-64 edge. He also corralled a huge rebound after Romeo Nayve missed his jumper on the other end and iced the game with two free throws with 7.2 ticks remaining.

Quinto finished with 15 points, three rebounds, and three assists, while Mcjour Luib chipped in 14 markers.
