Fermin in charge as Falcons look for new coach
MIKE Fermin will take over as interim coach of the Adamson Falcons as the school starts its search for a mentor “who can dedicate his full time” with the team.
Fermin served as the first deputy to Kenneth Duremdes, who got sacked Sunday after only one season with the rookie-laden Falcons.
“The team management has agreed to release Mr. Duremdes … as they would like to have someone who can dedicate his full time and attention to the … the team,” Adamson said in a statement yesterday.
The Falcons finished the UAAP basketball tourney last season with a 1-13 record. Jasmine W. Payo
