Pablo powers NU over FEU for V-League Finals slot

National University carried on without its star player, trouncing defending champion Far Easter University, 20-25, 25-13, 25-21, 25-16, in the semifinals of the Shakey’s V-League Collegiate Conference Sunday at San Juan Arena.

Myla Pablo powered the Lady Bulldogs with 23 points as they took the first slot in the finals sweeping the Lady Tamaraws 2-0 in the three-game series.

NU played without guest player Dindin Santiago Manabat who is in Vietnam for an invitational tournament.

Jaja Santiago added 17 points for the Lady Bulldogs while Aiko Urdas and Jorelle Singh put up 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Mary Palma and Jovelyn Gonzaga each had 11 points to lead the Lady Tamaraws.
