The Mapua Cardinals are making a late push for a first NCAA Final Four appearance in four seasons with their resurgence anchored by the hardworking center Allwell Oraeme.
The 6-foot-9 Nigerian stands at the point of the Cardinals’ attack that has seen them collect six straight wins to move into the Top 4.
Oraeme grabbed a season-high 30 rebounds in each of Mapua’s last two wins, earning him the Accel Quantum/3XVI-NCAA Press Corps Player of the Week plum. Cedelf P. Tupas
