NCAA suspends Friday games due to ‘Kabayan’
The NCAA has suspended its Friday games following the suspension of classes in Metro Manila, a statement said.
“Due to the suspension of classes in Metro Manila, especially in San Juan, in all levels, all games today are suspended,” Melchor Divina, NCAA Management Committee Chairman, said in the statement which was released Friday morning.
The suspension follows the suspension of classes in Metro Manila which is experiencing rains due to Tropical Storm Kabayan.

First-seed Colegio de San Juan de Letran (12-4) was set to take on University of Perpetual Help (11-6), which is tied at third seed with Arellano University and Jose Rizal University, in a crucial match that could shake the standings once more.
JRU was scheduled to take on eliminated San Sebastian (6-11) in the first game, while fourth-seed Mapua (10-6) was scheduled in the second game against bottom-feeder Emilio Aguinaldo College (2-14).
