Apacible banned from Ateneo games, practices after drunk driving incident
Ateneo Blue Eagles basketball player John Apacible, who was caught drunk driving in a video, is out of the team for the rest of the UAAP eliminations due to public misconduct, according to team officials.
Apacible, 19, is suspended from UAAP games and practices after Ateneo confirmed it’s him in the viral video of a Quezon City road fracas.

No decision has been made yet on whether Apacible will also be suspended by the school.
“As far as the school is concerned, there will be a process that will have to be followed before any decision will be arrived at,” Ricky Palou, Ateneo’s representative to the UAAP Board, told the Inquirer.
