Pateros quintet clips Marikina, zeroes in on F4

PATEROS Austen Morris tripped Marikina Wangs, 83-74, Saturday night to move a step closer to a semifinal spot in the Filsports Basketball Association Second Conference at Marikina Sports Center.

Jawhar Purdy’s 32 points and nine rebounds powered the Associates to solo third with a 4-5 record, a win shy of a semifinal slot.

Pampanga Foton and Manila National University-MFT trounced Malolos Mighty Bulsu, 80-70, and Quezon City UP Fighting Maroons, 61-42, respectively, to keep their share of the lead with identical 7-2 marks.

Meanwhile, league president and CEO LJ Serrano and Eagle Broadcasting Corp. president Jorge Cabacungan have forged an agreement to air FBA games on Net 25 and its affiliate international channels.
