Amid backlash, beleaguered Pacquiao continues training

Amidst the firestorm Manny Pacquiao is currently in, the eight-division is not veering away from his training for his third and what he is claiming a final fight against Timothy Bradley on April 9.

Pacquiao posted on his Facebook page Tuesday morning two clips of his conditioning routine as on lookers watched on. This after Nike announced that it is severing all ties with the boxing champion over his derogatory statements against the gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgender (LGBT).

Pacquiao, who is in General Santos City, was seen in the videos doing footwork exercises on the speed ladder and doing shadow boxing.

Trainer Freddie Roach is in Pacquiao’s hometown to supervise Pacquiao’s preparation for the Bradley fight. They will fly to Los Angeles in the coming weeks to continue the training camp at Wild Card Gym.

Pacquiao is in hot water after he said gay people were “worse than animals” for engaging in same sex relations.
