It was another Alyssa Valdez show as defending champions Ateneo trumped Adamson University, 25-19, 25-23, 25-16, for its fifth straight win in the UAAP Season 78 women’s volleyball Tournament Saturday at Mall of Asia Arena.

Valdez finished with 23 points but it was Pauline Gaston who finished off the Lay Falcons with her lone point that sealed the victory and the Lady Eagles’ 5-0 record.
