Arum disappointed with PPV buys of Pacquiao-Bradley 3

If indeed Manny Pacquiao’s retiring after his recent victory over Timothy Bradley, he will be walking away from the sports with a dud.
Sure, Pacquiao showed moments of brilliance when he knocked Bradley down twice but if pay-per-view (PPV) buys are to be measured, it wasn’t exactly a blockbuster.
As per BoxingScene.com, it’s estimated that 400,000 pay-per-view buys were registered for the third fight between Paquiao and Bradley.

Top Rank founder and CEO Bob Arum knows the estimated quantity of the PPV buys is not the best and can be considered a flop according to Pacquiao standards.
“It’s a disappointment, it’s terrible,” Arum told BoxingScene.com. “It’s certainly not the number we hoped for, but it is what it is.”
Pacquiao’s first fight against Bradley raked in around 900,000 PPV buys and before his last fight this April, his match against Floyd Mayweather was the richest bout in boxing history with stunning 4.6 million buys. RAM
