CHINESE Taipei’s No. 1 player won’t suit up when the country hosts the Taiwanese in their Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Group 2 second round tie on July 15 to 17 at Philippine Columbian Association.

Lu Yen-hsun, the world’s No. 72 player, wasn’t included in the roster endorsed by Chinese Taipei for the pivotal tie.

Lu whipped Filipino top singles bets Ruben Gonzales and Patrick John Tierro in straight sets during the 2015 tie held in Kaohsiung where the PH Cuppers dropped a 3-1 decision. Marc Anthony Reyes
