Rising Stars: Sports balls over Dolls for Ada

Love for sports.

Instead of Barbie dolls, the best birthday gift Ada Martha Caballo, could ever receive would be balls.

Tennis ball, basketball, volleyball—you name it, Ada, who just celebrated her seventh birthday last October 7, would love it. Even at a very young age, her passion for sports is already overflowing.

Ada would even spend some minutes before her bedtime volleying a ping pong ball off the wall—it was part of her training to get better, she said.

Along with his Kuya Tobit, 9, Ada’s usual pastime is a good game of badminton in their lawn, although she is still having a hard time hitting the shuttlecock. That’s what the training is for!
