Fatima zooms to 3rd straight win in NAASCU

FATIMA defeated Philippine Christian, 81-69, yesterday for its third straight win in the National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities men’s basketball at Rizal Technological University.

Martin Gozum dominated the game with 22 points on top of seven rebounds to power the Phoenix being handled by former collegiate star Ralph Rivera.

Jess Pedrosa added 12, while Jovin Datu had 10 for Fatima which handed PCU its first defeat in two outings.

Earlier, AMA Computer, powered by the 25-point effort of Jordan Jayson, posted its first win at the expense of New Era, 74-69.

Manuel L. Quezon University climbed to 1-2 after routing Eulogio Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology, 103-78.
