FAR from sharp following the three-week international break, Global picked up a precious point after battling Loyola Meralco to a scoreless stalemate Saturday in the United Football League at Rizal Memorial Stadium.
Misagh Bahadoran failed to sustain his scoring run while Pika Minegishi also misfired as Global settled for the draw.

J Baguioro struck twice in the first half before Renando Mantua completed the rout in the second half for Voltes, which now has 32 points. The Sparks are a point behind with 31.
