Jordan ousts Gilas Pilipinas
GILAS Pilipinas took a 105-119 loss at the hands of a seasoned Jordan squad Tuesday night (Wednesday morning in Manila) to bow out of competition in the Fiba Asia Challenge in Tehran, Iran.
Naturalized player Darquavis Tucker drained 30 of his 37 points in the first half and spearheaded the Jordanians’ swashbuckling start that the Filipinos were never able to recover from. Gilas will now be relegated to the consolation matches. Musong R. Castillo
