WATCH: Pinoy striker Javier Patiño scores 2 goals in China league

Filipino-Spanish footballer Javier Patiño continues to make waves internationally, this time leading his team Henan Jianye F.C. to a 2-2 draw against the Shanghai Shenhua at the Chinese Super League on Sunday.

The 28-year old national team member, who scored both of his squad’s points, capped his amazing performance in spectacular fashion with a game-tying overhead kick.

As seen toward the 40-second mark, Patiño sprinted toward the goal and caught off a pass from teammate before pulling off an impressive bicycle kick, which eluded the opposing goal keeper’s defense.

The brilliant play was the striker’s eighth goal in 25 league appearances.

Prior to suiting up for Henan Jianye F.C, Patiño last played for Buriram in Thailand as well as Xerez and Cordoba football clubs in Spain.  Khristian Ibarrola
