Pablo inks P4.6-M deal with Pocari
Myla Pablo, open spiker with sledgehammer kills, closed a watershed deal for Philippine volleyball when she inked a P4.6-million contract with Pocari Sweat.
The contract binds the 6-foot former National University stalwart for five years with the Lady Warriors who won the Open and Reinforced Conferences of the Shakey’s V-League (SVL) this year.

Sources privy to the deal didn’t say how much the 22-year-old Pablo, who also got a brand-new Hyundai Accent as signing bonus, is getting on her first year.
Such playing contracts existed in Philippine Superliga but they were uniformly one-year contracts.
