“He’s been our coach for a long time, he’s an assistant, and we know him, he knows us,” said de Ocampo after TNT brushed off Phoenix 117-98 at Smart Araneta Coliseum. “We are committed to him and at the same time he is committed to us.”

The loss, De Ocampo said, prompted them to talk things over and he now hopes their victory over the Fuel Masters propels them further the All-Filipino Conference.

“Fortunately, we had a positive result today and I hope it continue,”said De Ocampo as they improved to 3-2.
