FEU blanks UST in men’s Final 4 preview
Far Eastern University finished off its eliminations campaign in the UAAP Season 79 men’s volleyball tournament on a high note after scoring a sweep over University of Santo Tomas, 25-23, 25-18, 25-18, Saturday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Both the Tamaraws and the Growling Tigers are bound for the Final Four with the former holding an 8-6 card and the latter a 6-8 slate.
Despite the game having no bearing, FEU head coach Rey Diaz told his team to treat their final eliminations match as if it would cause ripples in their Final Four campaign.

Gregorio Dolor had a game-high 13 points for FEU while skipper Richard Solis and Jude Garcia had 10 points apiece.
Jerico Jose had seven points to pace UST.
