James tops NBA’s most popular jersey list in PH

LeBron James is the king in the Philippines in terms of jersey sales.

According to the NBA’s list of most popular jerseys in the Philippines, James had the top-selling jersey announced while reigning back-to-back MVP Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors in second.

James’ all-star teammate in Cleveland, Kyrie Irving is in third followed by MVP contender James Harden of the Houston Rockets.

Making the top 10 are San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard, Oklahoma City Thunder’s triple-double machine Russell Westbrook, Warriors shooter Klay Thompson, Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard, and Bulls swingman Jimmy Butler.

The Warriors, meanwhile, remained as No. 1 team merchandise sales, followed by the Cavaliers and Lakers. The Bulls and the Spurs completed the top five.

Rankings were based from merchandise sales in all four NBA stores in the country since the start of the 2016-2017 NBA season.
