Mangulabnan heads Superbikes field

Defending champion and Golden Wheel Driver of the Year Marvin Mangulabnan of BMW Racing Team heads the field when the 2017 Pirelli Superbikes Series fires off Saturday and Sunday at Batangas Racing Circuit.

A three-cornered fight among Mangulabnan and former champions Raniel Resuello of RGutz-Wheeltex Racing and Dashi Watanabe of Kawasaki highlights the kickoff leg of the 2017 Eneos Philippine Motorsports Championship Series that will also launch races in the FDR Tires Scooter and Underbone series. —STEVE SILVA, CONTRIBUTOR
