Baron named volley MVP
La Salle’s Majoy Baron was named UAAP women’s volleyball MVP, eclipsing early frontrunner and favorite Jaja Santiago of National University.
The MVP and other awards were supposed to be announced in Saturday’s Game 2 between La Salle and Ateneo, but the results were leaked Wednesday.
Baron has anchored the Lady Spikers’ run to the Finals, where they lead the Lady Eagles, 1-0, in the best-of-three affair.
