Pacman finding his groove

Like a jigsaw puzzle, the pieces are slowly coming together for Manny Pacquiao’s training for his defense of the World Boxing Organization welterweight crown.

Trainer Freddie Roach watched Pacquiao spar three rounds each against lightweight Leonardo Doronio and light welterweight Sonny Katiandagho and was contented with what he saw.

After grading Pacquiao a 4 during a listless sparring session Tuesday, Roach gave his ward a passable 6 this time.

And with Pacquiao’s title bout against Australian Jeff Horn still on July 2, Roach knows the jigsaw puzzle will be completed in time.
