SEA Games: Slaughter, Parks team up in Philippines’ 2nd straight rout
MANILA, Philippines—Sinag Pilipinas surged to a blistering start early and, as expected, dumped Vietnam, 107-53, Tuesday in the 26th SEA Games men’s basketball tournament at the BritAma Arena in Indonesia.
The Nationals, who rolled past Cambodia, 127-68, on Monday showed no signs of letting up as they roared to 27-0 blitz that tore the game wide open.
Seven-foot Greg Slaughter led the way with 20 points and grabbed six rebounds while Ray Parks chipped in with 19 markers.
The Philippines, now at 2-0, will face Thailand next.
