Wack Wack, Valley forge title duel

and Valley recently disposed of their semifinal rivals to forge a title duel for the 2017 Men’s Federation Golf League, resurrecting a rivalry that ended in an unprecedented tie three years ago.

Wack Wack was pushed to the limit by Tagaytay Highlands before posting a 7-5 win while Valley edged Orchard, 6.5-5.5.

In 2014, when Wack Wack and Valley met in the finals, Valley’s Zaldy Villa made a pitch-in birdie on the last hole to win his match and forge a playoff.

But the playoff did not push through due to bad weather and darkness that eventually led to both teams agreeing to share the championship for the first time in league history.
