National U, Adamson start semis bids

Unbeaten top seeds National U and Adamson try to move closer to a title clash as they battle separate rivals Wednesday at the start of the Final Four of the Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference at Filoil Flying V Centre.
The Lady Bulldogs and the Lady Falcons swept their groups in the classification phase and are eyeing a good start in their best-of-three series against the Arellano Lady Chiefs and the Far Eastern University Lady Tams, respectively.
Article continues after this advertisementNU, which trounced Ateneo last Saturday to finish on top of Group A with a 5-0 card, collides with Arellano at 4 p.m. while Adamson, which survived San Beda Monday, squares off with FEU at 6:30 p.m.
Ateneo battles UST at 8 a.m. while FEU and NU square off at 10 a.m. in the men’s semifinals.
