Michele Gumabao confirms Binibining Pilipinas stint

Volleybelle Michele Gumabao has confirmed that she will be competing in this year’s Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

Gumabao shared a photo on her Instagram account before dawn Tuesday with the caption “It’s official!! Feeling so blessed and excite to begin another journey!”

As of this writing, the post of the 5-foot-10 stunner had more than 3,600 likes.

Michele’s stister, Kat, also confirmed the news on her own Instagram account by posting a photo of Michele wearing a modern baro’t saya.

Kat said: “IT’S OFFICIAL! @gumabaomichele is a @bbpilipinasofficial 2018 candidate ️ I’m so proud of you Belles ”

The news first circulated when Powerhouseph, a page dedicated to beauty pageants, posted last Jan. 6 a photo of Bb. Pilipinas’ candidates including Michele Gumabao.

Gumabao was a key player of the De La Salle volleyball team. Currently, she is with Creamline in the Premier Volleyball League. /cbb
