Dwyane Wade returns to Miami as Cavs continue to deal

Dwyane Wade is coming home.

Wade is given the chance to end his career where it started after the Cleveland Cavaliers traded him back to the Miami Heat, ESPN has reported.

As part of a massive shake-up just before the trade deadline, the Cavaliers are reportedly getting a heavily-protected second-round pick in exchange for Wade, who had signed a one-year deal with Cleveland after a buyout from Chicago.

Just minutes before, Cleveland sent Isaiah Thomas and Channing Frye to the Los Angeles Lakers for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr.

In a separate trade, the Cavaliers also and shipped away Jae Crowder, Derrick Rose and Iman Shumpert and received George Hill from the Sacramento Kings and Rodney Hood from the Utah Jazz.

Wade, one of LeBron James’ closest friends, reunites with coach Erik Spoelstra and president Pat Riley in Miami, where he won three championships.
