UAAP Softball: Lady Falcons slip past Tigresses
Krisha Cantor reveled in the spotlight as she helped Adamson clinch the first Final Four berth in the UAAP Season 80 softball tournament after eking out a tight 2-1 victory over University of Santo Tomas Monday at Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.
Cantor delivered the match-clinching RBI off Tigresses pitcher Ann Antolihao as pinch runner Ivy Capistrano ran home in the bottom seventh to give the Lady Falcons their ninth win in 10 outings.

In the other matches, National University moved closer in securing a spot in the Final Four with a 10-4 blasting of La Salle.
The Lady Bulldogs had it their way in the sixth inning, scoring six runs to wiggle out of a 4-all deadlock and escape the Lady Batters.

Also-ran Ateneo also pulled off a 3-2 stunner over University of the East to put an end to its 10-game losing slide.
The Lady Warriors suffered their fifth defeat in 10 games.
In baseball Sunday, La Salle walloped UST, 11-1 to maintain its grip of first place at 6-1.
Defending champion Ateneo dropped NU, 5-3, while Adamson clobbered UP, 13-3 to continue their arms race for the two championship berths.
The Blue Eagles and the Falcons remain tied at second with their identical 6-2 cards.
