In front of a rowdy crowd in Bangkok, Jeremy Miado and Angelie Sabanal delivered stunners Saturday at ONE: Iron Will at Impact Arena in Thailand.

With little to no expectations on his side, Miado knocked out Muay Thai champion and hometown bet Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke with a thunderous right cross at the 1:29 mark of the first round in their strawweight clash, which also served as a co-main event for the card.

Sabanal also scored a unanimous decision win over fan favorite Rika Ishige in her ONE debut, showcasing her striking prowess as she went toe-to-toe with the Thai star before pummeling her in the third round.

The other two Filipinos on the fightcard, however, weren’t as fortunate.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu expert Garry Tonon downed Filipino bet Richard Corminal in an emphatic display of his striking abilities, scoring the technical knockout win at the 3:40 mark of the second round.

Thai contender Kritsada Kongsrichai also hardly broke a sweat against Robin Catalan, hitting the belly-to-back suplex to end the match at the 1:40 mark of the first round.

This card featured an exciting main event where Bibiano Fernandes edged two-division champion Martin Nguyen to retain his ONE Bantamweight Championship via split decision.
