Che’Lu-San Sebastian nails quarters seat, routs Batangas-EAC by 39 points
Che’Lu Bar and Grill-San Sebastian barged into the 2018 PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup quarterfinals with an emphatic 99-60 victory over Batangas-EAC Monday at Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
The Revellers took advantage of their 20-day break, pouncing on the also-ran Generals on their way to their fifth straight win.
Article continues after this advertisementAllyn Bulanadi and Ryan Costelo spearheaded the 39-point rout as they combined for six treys as Che’Lu-San Sebastian shot 15-of-37 from downtown.
Costelo shot 13 points and had 10 rebounds, while Bulanadi also went for 13 markers on top of five boards, and three dimes.
Veteran forward Samboy de Leon led the crew in scoring with 15 points to go along with five rebounds, Alfred Batino had 13 markers and eight boards, and Jason David chipped in 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists in the win.

“At least, we can relax a bit,” he said. “We’ve been preparing for this important game. At least with this win, we’re already assured of the quarters.”
After falling behind, 4-0, to start the game, the Revellers retorted with a 9-0 blast before extending their lead to as high as 44, 99-55, late.
Cedrick Ablaza carried Batangas-EAC (1-8) with 14 points and seven rebounds, while Cedric de Joya had 10 markers, three boards, and three assists.
