Mayweather planes in, will party in the islands
Continuing his globetrotting adventure, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has taken his journey to the Philippines and its islands.
The undefeated boxing world champion arrived in the country late Monday night for the latest stop in his personal “country hop” aboard his Air Mayweather private jet.
Enjoying the retired life, the 41-year-old Mayweather has been on an excursion for the past two weeks, posting updates on his popular Instagram account which boasts of 20 million followers.
Article continues after this advertisementHe has made stops in Dubai, Singapore, Bali, and Bangkok, visiting famous tourist spots and soaking in the culture.
Here, the man they call “Money” plans to visit a number of the country’s finest beaches as part of host Frontrow International’s itinerary for the man who beat the Philippines’ own Manny Pacquiao three years ago.
“I have heard and seen on TV how beautiful the Philippines is,” Mayweather was quoted by Frontrow’s Sam Versoza. “I can’t wait to see for myself the natural wonders and beauty of your country.”
