Paraiso’s UST stint not yet final, says Ayo
Former La Salle guard Brent Paraiso may have played a preseason game with University of Santo Tomas but Aldin Ayo is not promising that the once Green Archer will don the black-gold stripes.
UST’s head coach said Paraiso can play as a Growling Tiger in the Universities and Colleges Basketball League as the preseason tournament does not require any form of eligibility from the schools.

“Yes he’s with us for now but nothing’s final, if he wants and he’s willing to play he can come and enroll with us,” said Ayo in Filipino Friday at Filoil Flying V Centre after UST’s 79-71 loss against San Sebastian in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup.
“Although we’re not pursuing him, if he decides to join us it’s up to him.”

“If he does want to join the team officially he has to decide before summer ends because we have to finalize the lineup for the UAAP,” said Ayo.
Paraiso had 17 points, two rebounds, and five assists, in his game for UST in the UCBL.
