Undefeated Eagles eye solo lead vs Cardinals

Ateneo and Mapua stake their immaculate records when they clash on Tuesday in the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup in San Juan.

The Eagles will zoom to solo Group A lead and past rivals La Salle Archers if they beat the Cardinals in their 12:30 p.m. clash at Filoil Flying V Centre.

The Eagles and the Archers currently share the lead at 4-0 while Mapua is one game behind at 3-0.

College of St. Benilde, likewise holding a 4-0 card in Group B, faces University of Santo Tomas at 2:15 p.m.

The Blazers evaded upset-conscious Arellano University, 74-69, on Friday to stay unscathed.
